Native American Heritage Month

November is Native American Heritage Month. Throughout the month, WNED/PBS TV (Channel 3 on Spectrum Cable) is featuring documentaries about the many ways in which Native Americans have made an impact on United States Society. This week, we are sharing a link to the PBS video titled, “The Warrior Tradition.” It tells the astonishing, heartbreaking, inspiring, and largely-untold history of Native Americans in the United States military, featuring Native American warriors telling their own stories of service and pain, of courage and fear.
