Native Pride’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Indigenous Peoples’ Day On October 12th, we celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Day. As background, this special day began in California in 1992 as a way to celebrate and honor Native people, our histories, and our cultures.
